Rush set to tour in 2008

Rush plans to go out on a 40-plus-date tour in 2008. The Canadian trio will kick off the outing next April in Puerto Rico, followed by dates in Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia and Seattle. The band is also set to play Austin, Texas, Orlando, Florida and New Orleans, among other cities. Full details are expected to be announced in January. Rush will start rehearsals in March to revamp the set list before beginning the tour with its first-ever appearance in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Rush will be out behind its latest album, Snakes & Arrows.

Rush recently scored a Grammy nomination for the Snakes & Arrows instrumental track "Malignant Narcissism."
