Stairway to Heaven: The Gods are back

It's been a long time since they've rock and rolled. The most iconic rock n' roll band in history took to the stage to perform a full set on Monday at 9:04pm GMT.
The much-anticipated one-off concert at London's O2 Arena began with a drum explosion as Led Zeppelin blasted into Good Times, Bad Times. Some 20,000 fans were sent into a frenzy of screams, howls and fist-pumping cheers.
The trinity of legendary guitarist Jimmy Page, singer Robert Plant and bassist John-Paul Jones - with Jason Bonham on drums - then launched into the rock classics Ramble On and Black Dog followed by In My Time of Dying, Trampled Underfoot, Nobody's Fault But Mine, No Quarter, Since I've Been Lovin' You and Dazed and Confused, Stairway To Heaven (which was rarely played near the end of the group's tenure), The Song Remains the Same, Misty Mountain Hop, Kashmir before ending with a 1-2 punch of "Whole Lotta Love" (which Page dedicated to Ertegun) and Rock and Roll.
Plant's whine was in full force. Jones, 61, and the younger Bonham, 41, ably held down the bottom line. And Page, 63, showed no ill effects from the finger injury that forced the band to postpone the show from its original date of November 26th.
Led Zeppelin have proved that they can still perform to the level that originally earned them their legendary reputation. Rock fans demand a world tour!
