Classic Rock quick news
Brian May is currently working on the sequel to the hit British musical We Will Rock You. The musical, which features some of Queen's biggest hits, opened in London in 2002 and has had numerous spin off residencies and touring troupes all over the globe. May told Britain's The Independent that he's working closely with scriptwriter Ben Elton: "We have been talking about it for a long time. Now Ben has supplied us with a fabulous script the train is rolling! Watch out!"
There is still no word as to when the still-untitled new show will open, or whether it will replace the long running We Will Rock You.
Bruce Springsteen appears in the new documentary The Good Life - The Joe Grushecky Story. The film, which won the Best Documentary Prize at the 2007 Colony Film Festival, features Springsteen being interviewed extensively on his longtime friendship with the Pittsburg rocker, with performance clips of the two are also included in the film.
Springsteen has co-written several songs over the years with Grushecky, and produced his 1995 album American Babylon.
