Eric Clapton sells memorabilia on eBay for charity
Eric Clapton has launched an official eBay store to benefit his Crossroads Center rehab on Antigua. Clapton's official website ericclapton.com posted that the store, which is accessible through the site, features "unique collectibles like tour programs from previous tours, caps, a variety of T-shirts and goodies, caps, pins, guitar pick collections and more."More recent items available for sale include several items from Clapton's 2007 Crossroads Guitar Festival including backstage passes, a limited edition poster and tour jacket from the 2006-2007 world tour, along with a variety of T-shirts.
The Crossroads Centre at Antigua is an international, non-profit facility for recovery from alcohol and drug dependence found by Clapton in 1997. The mission is to provide quality care and treatment that is both affordable and accessible.
Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood will perform together at New York's Madison Square Garden on February 25th, 26th, and 28th.
