Ozzy Osbourne memoirs delayed

The publication of Ozzy Osbourne's memoirs has been delayed to May of 2008 after they were initially scheduled to arrive in late 2007, according to Independent.co.uk. Ozzy reportedly signed a "lucrative deal" last year for the book, but missed a first deadline seven months ago, forcing wife and manager Sharon Osbourne to pen a quick sequel to her own previously published autobiography.

Oddly, Ozzy said a couple of months ago in a conference call with reporters that he has no plans for now to put his memories down on paper: [ Click to listen if you have a backstage pass] "You know what, I mean, Sharon (Osbourne, wife and manager)'s done exceedingly well, she's written two books about her life. But there's a lot in my career and my life that I remember, but there's also a s***load that I've got no idea what happened. I mean, since I had my bike accident, my short-term memory is really f***ed, you know."

Ozzy resumes his North American arena tour with Rob Zombie on Thursday (January 3rd) in Portland, Maine.
