Rush: N. American tour dates announced

Rush has revealed the dates and locations for its 2008 North American tour, which will take the Canadian trio to more than 40 cities in its homeland and the U.S. The trek kicks off on April 11th in Puerto Rico and will stop in many places that Rush hasn't visited in more than a decade, including Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Austin, Texas and others. The group continues to support its latest album, last year's Snakes & Arrows, which was the band's first collection of new songs in nearly five years.

The Snakes & Arrows tour has been Rush's highest-grossing and best-attended trek in years, according to a press release.

A track from the album, "Malignant Narcissism," has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental Performance.
