Alleged Gene Simmons sex tape leaks

A sex tape allegedly starring Gene Simmons has popped up online. The video, which showed up on GenesSecret.com, among other sites, features a man who appears to be the Kiss bassist, and a woman who has been reported to be an Austrian spokesmodel for Frank's Energy Drink, cavorting on a bed while Foreigner's "I Want To Know What Love Is" plays in the background.

Simmons, whose long-time partner is Shannon Tweed, wasn't happy about the video and addressed the issue on his website. He wrote: "Hi everyone. You may have heard or seen garbage that has sprung up from my past. Rest assured the proper legal team is looking at all ramifications and options. And us? Shannon, Nick and Soph are happy and healthy. All is well. And thank you all for the kind words of support."

Simmons and Tweed have two kids together -- son Nicholas, who is 19, and daughter Sophie, who is 15.

The video costs $9.95 for a one-day trial. However, it has been posted on other websites where it can be found for free.
