Apocalyptica announces 2008 North American tour dates

Finnish rock cello quartet Apocalyptica has begun booking shows for a North American tour, beginning on April 23rd in Kansas City, Missouri. The group will be touring in support of its sixth studio album, Worlds Collide, which arrives in stores on April 15th. Guests on the disc include Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier, Lacuna Coil singer Cristina Scabbia, drummer Dave Lombardo from Slayer, vocalist Till Lindemann of Rammstein and Stone Sour/Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, who sings on the CD's first single, "I'm Not Jesus."

Apocalyptica made their debut in 1998 with Plays Metallica by Four Cellos, a collection of Metallica covers all performed on cello.
