Great White tour manager to leave prison

Daniel Biechele, Great White's former tour manager, will be released from prison on March 19th. He's been serving time since May 2006 after setting off the pyrotechnics that started a 2003 nightclub fire, which killed 100 people in West Warwick, Rhode Island. He pleaded guilty to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter. Great White guitarist Ty Longley was among those killed.

Biechele was sentenced to four years in prison, but last fall the parole board decided to release him in March, though it didn't set a specific date.

Sparks from Biechele's pyrotechnics ignited flammable soundproofing foam, which caused the tragic blaze.
