Jon Bon Jovi: "Tour is very high-tech"

Bon Jovi is out on the road promoting its latest album, Lost Highway. The outing stops in Chicago tomorrow (Tuesday, February 26th) and stretches into June. But this isn't just any Bon Jovi tour. Frontman Jon Bon Jovi tells us the stage show is very advanced and caters to the audience: [ Click to listen if you have a backstage pass] "Because we're playing to the back of the house there's a portion of the stage that will rise up in the air. So Richie and I are intending to go up and out behind the drummer behind the stage and we'll perform a song that way. And the floor lights up -- you know the McCartney stage that all lit up on the floor -- so we did that. It's a really high-tech stage. The video screens look like Venetian blinds. It's projected on both sides of them. They open up and they close."

Bon Jovi tells us a little more about what we can expect at the show: [ Click to listen if you have a backstage pass] "This production -- this stage is very high-tech. We spared no expense. You know it's 360. So the stage is set for that. There's no obscured seats anywhere. It's a very high-tech production."
