The Police announce final US tour dates

The Police have announced their final U.S. tour dates for this spring and summer, to be spread over two legs, in May and then in July and August.

Last week, the band announced that the two legs will feature special guests Elvis Costello and the Imposters, and that the second U.S. leg will feature the Police's final-ever shows as a band.

The Police have also added dates to their upcoming European tour: June 10th in Saint Etienne, France; July 2nd in Valencia, Spain; and July 5th in Madrid, Spain.

The band wrapped up their most recent leg last night (February 17th) in Honolulu.

The Police's reunion tour has sold over 2.5 million tickets, and been named by Pollstar as the "Major Tour of The Year" and "Tour of the Year" and "Top Selling Tour of 2007" by Billboard.
