U2 manager Paul McGuinness has denied a report on FoxNews.com that the Irish quartet is leaving Universal Music and possibly signing a comprehensive new deal with the Live Nation concert organization. According to HitsDailyDouble, McGuiness sent out an email in which he stated that the report was "untrue...U2 has an excellent relationship with Universal. We have recently re-licensed both masters and copyrights to them." Inside sources added that the group has recently re-signed with Universal for four more albums.

Frances Bean Cobain, the 15-year-old daughter of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, has been photographed for a pictorial in the March issue of Harper's Bazaar. No other details were available, although there was some online speculation that she was going to model for Chanel in 2008. Frances has stayed mostly out of the public spotlight until now, giving only three official interviews to date. (RollingStone.com)

John Fogerty has announced on his website (johnfogerty.com) that he'll join rock and roll forefathers Fats Domino, Little Richard, and Jerry Lee Lewis in a segment during Sunday night's (February 10th) Grammy Awards telecast.

Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Phil Lesh, and Bob Weir reformed for the first time since 2004 on Monday night (February 4th) for a fundraiser for Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama at San Francisco's Warfield Theatre.
