Red Hot Chili Peppers will reconvene soon

I love you guys, but we all kind of need a break,' and we all said, 'Let's reconvene in one year.' We don't have any plans for any recording or any concerts or anything, so we'll see if that holds up. I don't know. We might get a little itchy, get a little antsy, but there hasn't been any talk of playing yet."
Smith added that he and bassist Flea live near each other in Malibu and often get together for Lakers games.
Stadium Arcadium sold over two million copies and won four Grammys in 2007, including Best Rock Album. The set included the hits "Dani California" and "Snow (Hey Oh)."
Chili Peppers singer Anthony Kiedis and girlfriend Heather Christie had their first child together, a son named Everly Bear, last October.
