Rush to release live "Snakes" in April
Rush will release a two-CD concert set, called Snakes & Arrows Live, on April 8th. The package was recorded last October at the Ahoy Rotterdam arena in the Netherlands while the group was touring behind Snakes & Arrows, its first new studio album in five years. The arrival of the live set will coincide with the beginning of a new round of North American tour dates for the Canadian trio, beginning on April 13th in Sunrise, Florida and extending well into July. The band will play its first-ever show in Puerto Rico on April 11th, just before the North American trek kicks off.
The road trip will include stops in a number of cities that Rush has not visited in more than a decade, including Orlando, Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Reno, Moline, Boise, Austin, Jacksonville and Winnipeg.
Snakes & Arrows was released last May and followed up 2002's Vapor Trails. The new disc debuted at Number Three on the Billboard album chart, Rush's highest debut since 1993.
