Ryan Shaw to tour with Van Halen

R&B singer Ryan Shaw is set to join the second leg of the Van Halen reunion tour as an opening act. The singer announced the unusual matchup on his website. Reggae scion Kymani Marley will perform on the first half of the tour.

Shaw has become a favorite of urban adult and smooth jazz fans for his classic soul sound. His artistry netted him a Grammy nomination this year in the Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance category for "I am Your Man" from his debut CD This Is Ryan Shaw.

Van Halen is touring with original frontman David Lee Roth for the first time in 20 years. Shaw joins the trek on February 22nd.
