Success not changing Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters walked away with two Grammy Awards on Sunday night (February 10th), earning trophies for Best Rock Album and Best Hard Rock Performance. Although the group was shut out of bigger prizes like Album and Record of the Year, frontman Dave Grohl told us that the band is grateful for all the good luck it's had in recent years: [

And as it all sort of grows and changes, the four of us just stay the same, and we look at each other every time something happens, like a Grammy nomination or a big show selling out, we look at each other and we're like, 'Can you believe that? Isn't that nuts?' 'Cause we don't feel any different, you know." Foo Fighters win in the Rock Album category, for Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, was its third in that category.
The band performed outdoors at the Grammy ceremony, with an orchestra of musicians from around the country conducted by Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones.
After the ceremony, Grohl spoke with the BBC in support of singer Amy Winehouse, who won five awards despite currently doing a stint in rehab after a series of tabloid scandals. Grohl said, "When you're an incredibly talented hot young new artist, everybody wants to know your story and wants to see you. There's a lot of pressure when you are in the spotlight. The best thing is for people to leave her alone and just let her make music."
Grohl revealed that his baby daughter loves Winehouse's music, adding, "It's a little unnerving when your two-year-old sings 'Rehab' all day long. Weird but true."
