Boston to tour with new line-up
Boston has set up a 42-date tour with a brand new line-up. The announcement comes a year after the death of singer Brad Delp, who committed suicide last March. According to the band's website, former Stryper frontman Michael Sweet will be on vocals and guitar. He'll join Gary Pihl and band mastermind Tom Scholz, along with Tommy DeCarlo, a fan who posted his own Boston covers on his MySpace page and ended up on stage with the group. The outing kicks off June 6th in Thunder Bay, Ontario and wraps August 17th in Atlanta. Some dates are still being finalized.It usually goes years between Boston albums, and Scholz why it takes him so long to finish an album, while other acts get their records out much faster, and he said it has nothing to do with the artists: [

I don't think there's a lot of artists that go into a studio and think, 'I wanna finish this in three months because I'll make a lot more money if I do that.' That's the farthest thing from my mind when I go into the studio, and it takes me a long time to get something that I'm willing to have millions of copies made of and have circulating around."
