Ozzy: "Black Sabbath reunion will happen if it happens"
Ozzy Osbourne told the Sydney Morning Herald that he has no idea whether he'll reunite with Black Sabbath for a 40th anniversary concert tour, saying, "If it happens, it happens, if it don't, it don't." Osbourne added, "They're (saying), 'I'll be able to do it', then a week after, you get a phone call: it's off; then it's back on again." This echoes comments that Osbourne made to us about the chances of going on the road with Sabbath again: [

If it's meant to happen, it will happen." More important to Osbourne than whether the original Sabbath ever tours again is that "we all made friends again."
The other members of Sabbath, minus founding drummer Bill Ward, have been busy with Heaven and Hell, the offshoot project started with Osbourne's first replacement in Sabbath, Ronnie James Dio. After a successful tour last year, Heaven and Hell is said to be working on an album.
Osbourne has no problems with the other members of Sabbath touring and recording as Heaven and Hell.
The legendary vocalist made his remarks just ahead of an Australian tour that brought him to Melbourne on Saturday (March 15th).
There's been no word yet on the status of Osbourne's long-running traveling metal tour, Ozzfest. Various rumors indicate that the festival will morph into a two-day "destination event" in Dallas this summer, with a one-off show in London planned as well. An official announcement has yet to be made.
