Van Halen tour postponed for a month

Eddie Van Halen is getting some unspecified medical help, forcing Van Halen to postpone its tour until April 19th, Billboard.com reports. Seventeen shows are affected by the postponement, stretching from Tuesday night (March 11th) in Charlottesville, Virginia to April 15th in Baltimore. According to tour organizers, the guitarist is "currently under doctors' care" and will "continue medical tests to define a course of treatment."

Van Halen has reunited with original frontman David Lee Roth for the first time in over two decades. Eddie's teenage son, Wolfgang, has taken over the bass guitar from original member Michael Anthony.

Van Halen postponed some shows last week, with promoters saying it was in order for Eddie to undergo tests for an unspecified medical condition. However, the National Enquirer claims he checked into a San Antonio, Texas rehab clinic following a backstage fight with Wolfgang.
