Bryan Adams to debut new songs on acoustic tour

Bryan Adams will debut some new songs on his brief upcoming tour, set to begin May 3rd in New York. Dates for the solo acoustic outing are scheduled through the end of the month, winding down in Los Angeles on the 19th. Adams will release his first album in four years, titled 11, on May 13th. The set will be available exclusively at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores nationwide and on WalMart.com in CD and MP3 format. Adams recorded 11 -- named for its chronological order among his releases, as well as for the number of tracks it has -- in hotel rooms and backstage concert venues throughout Europe over the past two years.

His previous album was 2004's Room Service.

He's also touring with Foreigner this summer.
