Aerosmith's Steven Tyler out of rehab
Aerosmith vocalist Steven Tyler has finished his month-long stint in rehab, according to SFGate.com. Tyler was spotted at the final game of the Boston Celtics/Los Angeles Lakers NBA Championship series on Tuesday night (June 17th) after checking out of a facility in Pasadena, California run by Celebrity Rehab doctor Drew Pinsky. According to TMZ.com, Tyler is continuing to undergo outpatient treatment until he is "back to full health."Initial reports suggested that the 60-year-old Tyler, clean and sober since 1986, checked himself into Las Encinas Hospital after falling off the wagon.
Sources also speculated that Tyler had gotten hooked on painkillers due to several recent health issues, including two foot surgeries, a bout of hepatitis C and a procedure on his throat.
But Tyler issued a statement shortly after checking in, claiming that he had entered the facility to help him recover from pain endured during the foot surgeries and subsequent physical therapy.
Tyler indicated in the same statement that plans for a new Aerosmith album and tour are in the works.
