AC/DC starting world tour on Halloween
AC/DC will kick off its first world tour in seven years on Halloween (October 31st) in Chicago, a source close to the band has told Harddrive Radio. No other details on the trek have been confirmed yet. The tour will come in support of the group's new album, Black Ice, which is due out on October 28th. A single titled "Rock and Roll Train" will arrive at radio stations around August 28th. Black Ice, which will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart, is AC/DC's first new studio effort since 2000's Stiff Upper Lip.
The 1977 AC/DC song "Let There Be Rock" will be featured in the new Rock Band 2 video game, due out in September. This will mark the band's first and so far only contribution to a video game soundtrack.
