Courtney Love says Bryan Adams stole $858,000

Former Hole frontperson Courtney Love has posted another of her famously lengthy and difficult to read rants online, this time accusing alt-rocker Ryan Adams of stealing more than $800,000 from a trust fund set up for Frances Bean Cobain, her daughter with late Nirvana leader Kurt Cobain. According to Idolator.com, Love claimed in her post that Adams used credit cards that drew from the fund to spend $858,000 on his 2003 album Rock 'N' Roll. She did not offer any details on how Adams was able to access the cards or account.

In the first few lines of the 1,100-word post, which skips such niceties as punctuation and grammar, Love writes, "i was sitting with some people going thru the 29 american express cards that i didnt know existed that were connected to a few HUNDRED bank accounts, and there were all the bills for Ryan Adams worst record and one of the worst records i can think of in rock and roll history ironically called 'Riock and Roll.'"

Love also accuses her former boyfriend and manager, Jim Barber, of collaborating with Adams to spend money from the trust fund on the album, and also asks Adams if he is still shooting heroin.

Love claimed earlier this year that she was defrauded out of millions from identity thieves posing as Kurt Cobain, who used the money to buy a New Jersey home, open more than 180 credit cards and buy cars. Her allegations were dismissed as false by New Jersey authorities.

Kurt Cobain committed suicide in 1994 at age 27. He left Love with their daughter, as well as control of his estate.
