Robert Plant and Krauss extend tour

More dates have been added to the Robert Plant and Alison Krauss Raising Sand tour, which is now extended through early October. Shows have been scheduled in Austin, Houston, St. Louis and other cities. The outing will eventually wind down in Saratoga, California on October 5th. Plant and Krauss have been out behind their Raising Sand album, but have also been performing some Led Zeppelin tunes, as well as solo material.

Krauss told Billboard.com, "I'm surprised at the varying of the performances show to show. Because of the personalities within the band, it has changed the show night to night, not only the show overall but each tune takes on a different character. Everything has its own identity from night to that. That's very exciting for all of us."

The tour stopped in Cleveland, Ohio on Tuesday, July 15th.
