Bon Jovi to perform free concert

Bon Jovi will play a free show in honor of arena football champs the Philadelphia Soul -- a team that Jon Bon Jovi co-owns. According to LiveDaily.com, the gig's date and location will be announced next week. The band's upcoming show, dubbed "Soul Celebration featuring Bon Jovi," is part of a partnership between Virgin Mobile USA and the Philadelphia Soul, which drew more than 130,000 fans to its games this season.

Bon Jovi recently performed a free concert at New York City's Central Park.

The group is working on its first documentary featuring both concert and backstage footage.
