"It Might Get Loud" with Jimmy Page

A new documentary focusing on Led Zeppelin guitar player Jimmy Page, U2 guitarist The Edge and White Stripes axeman Jack White will premiere this September at the Toronto International Film Festival, according to Variety. The film, titled It Might Get Loud, first screened in May at the Cannes Film Festival in France while searching for distribution. Directed by Davis Guggenheim, who won an Oscar for making the Al Gore documentary An Inconvenient Truth, the film looks at the history of the guitar through the eyes of the three musicians profiled.

According to The Playlist film music blog, Page, White and The Edge were each picked for their contributions to guitar playing in three separate eras -- Page in the '70s, The Edge in the '80s and '90s, and White in the early years of the 21st century.

The movie was shot in London, Dublin, Nashville and Los Angeles.

There's no word on when or if the film will get a theatrical release.
