Aerosmith offer fans free concert

Incensed Aerosmith fans are set to be pacified with a free concert. The rock band will be holding a free show for the fans who brought a lawsuit against them after they canceled a show in Maui two years ago.

The class action suit claims that the band pulled out of the concert in favor of a bigger show in Chicago and a private gig in Oahu.

Aerosmith decided to hold a free show and pay for the expenses in order to settle the lawsuit.

Brandee Faria from the aggrieved fans' camp told BBC, "Everyone who bought a ticket to the original concert will receive a free ticket, and all out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed regardless of the amount."

According to the band's lawyer, Jay Handlin, the band are happy to have reached a settlement with their supporters.

He said, "The band is about the music. So they are glad to be able to resolve this in a way that really focused on connecting or reconnecting the people of Hawaii with the band and its music."

No date has been set yet for the free concert.
