Pearl Jam announce European shows

Pearl Jam has announced four special arena dates in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands. These new dates are the rock band's first in two years, although they plan to return to Europe when their next studio album releases in autumn.

The trek kicks off in Rotterdam in the Netherlands on August 13th and wraps up at London's O2 Arena on the 18th. It also includes two dates in Berlin, Germany on the 15th and Manchester on the 17th.

Public tickets for these shows will go on-sale Friday, May 8th. A special ticket pre-sale for current European members of Pearl Jam's Ten Club begins today, April 27th and ends April 29th.

In related news, Pearl Jam's songs are going to be featured in CBS' "Cold Case." The band's music will be used to tell the story of a female cadet who was murdered at a military academy in 2005, it has been announced.

The two-part sixth season finale episodes of "Cold Case" will feature sixteen songs that will be aired on the show starring Kathryn Morris on Sunday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 10th at 9:00 - 10:00 P.M. ET/PT, Ace Showbiz reports.
