Jimmy Page and Jack White were in Los Angeles on Friday for the premiere of It Might Get Loud, a documentary that brings both musicians together, along with U2 guitarist The Edge, to talk about guitar playing and their own personal histories. The movie opens in New York and Los Angeles in mid-August.

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich will host a screening and discussion of the Danish documentary The Five Obstructions at the California Film Institute's Rafael Film Center in San Rafael, California on September 2nd at 7:00 p.m. The film, about a series of mind-bending creative challenges, was directed by Lars Von Trier, best known for Breaking The Waves and Dancer In The Dark.
