Roger Daltrey happy showcasing Who's rarer side
Roger Daltrey's current Use It Or Lose It solo tour is featuring some of the most hard hitting rock being performed on stage today. In addition to such Who powerhouses as "The Real Me," "Who Are You," "Cache Cache," "Young Man Blues," and "Bargain," Daltrey has been tackling a few of the band's more pop-inspired classics -- including "Pictures Of Lily" and the crowd favorite, "Squeeze Box."Although the Who retired "Squeeze Box" from their live repertoire during their 1982 "Farewell Tour," the song has always been a favorite of Daltrey's and has remained a constant in his solo setlists. For this trek, Daltrey has resurrected the band's "I Can See For Miles" for the first time in 20 years. He says he's thrilled that he has enough voices on stage to duplicate the vocals on the studio tracks: [

And it's kind of fun, 'cause we can do the real backing vocals -- which is a big deal for me, because as a lead singer, if the backing vocals aren't there, you don't quite know where to pitch the main vocal."
