Q mag names 20 greatest guitar solos

A new list of the 20 Greatest Guitar Solos has been compiled by the staff of Britain's Q magazine, naming David Gilmour's solo in Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" the greatest guitar solo in rock.

Coming in at No. 2 was Brian May's lead work on Queen's "Killer Queen", with the third greatest guitar solo being tied between Jimmy Page's solo on Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven" and Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze".

The Top 20 Greatest Guitar Solos according to Q magazine are:
